Mav's Top Buns was born in 2020 during our son Maverick’s first Christmas. Nikki found a recipe for cinnamon buns from her late grandmother's recipe book, and after baking them, knew she was onto something special.
The pandemic was just ramping up and a Curbside Pickup Group in Monmouth County built a page on Facebook to help support local businesses. Nikki simply posted, "Would anyone like to buy some cinnamon buns?" and Mav's Top Buns hasn't stopped having demand since.
We have been featured on News 12 NJ, Pix 11 News for Foodie Friday, and our buns have joined Coach Bill Cowher on CBS Sports. Our wildest accomplishment has been catering Draft Day for the NY Jets (twice!)
With three little ones in tow, we’ve had our challenges and continue to learn from every opportunity that presents itself. We believe in good vibes, body positivity, and of course, family is everything.
We offer boxes of buns for pre-order and we also have build your own boxes (and single buns!) available during store hours. We also are honored to cater all of your events like gender reveals, bridal showers, weddings, office parties and more!

Our customers proudly call themselves the “Bun Cult” due to their diehard devotion to the buns and the brand.
